On June 9, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Bull Run Creek Rd. and Mamie May Rd. in Franklinville. After further investigation, a search was conducted and a trafficking amount of fentanyl and oxycodone were located, along with cocaine and amphetamines. US Currency and drug paraphernalia were also located. As a result, Tracey Canoy Corum and Michelle Elvington were both transported to Randolph County Detention Center.
Tracey Canoy Corum was charged with two counts of felony trafficking in opium/heroin, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, felony possession schedule II and misdemeanor possession drug paraphernalia. She was given a $500,000 secured bond with a court date scheduled for June 9, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
Michelle Renee Elvington was charged with felony trafficking in heroin, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II, felony possession schedule II and misdemeanor possession drug paraphernalia. She was given a $500,000 secured bond with a court date scheduled for June 9, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
