In October 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force initiated an investigation into an act of solicitation by computer. During the course of the investigation, Mark Keeney was identified as a suspect.
On March 05, 2026, the Invictus Task Force executed a search warrant, and as a result, Mark Keeney was subsequently taken into custody and charged with two (2) counts of Felony Solicitation of a Child by Computer & Appear and one (1) count of Felony Indecent Liberties with a Child. Keeney was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate issued no bond and set a first appearance in Randolph County District Court for March 6, 2026. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Liberty Police Department Invictus Task Force representative.
