On July 2, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received information about a sexual assault that had allegedly occurred.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division charges were sought against Milton Enrique Guzman Coral for felony child abuse – sexual act, felony first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, felony indecent liberties with a child, and felony statutory sex offense with a child <=15. The magistrate found probable cause and issued a warrant for arrest.
On January 1, 2026, Guzman-Coral was located by the Asheboro Police Department in their jurisdiction. He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served his warrant. He was issued no bond and a first appearance was set for January 2, 2026, in Randolph County District Court.
