On December 20, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Graceland Dr., Asheboro, regarding a fight.
Upon arrival, Deputies heard screaming coming from inside the residence and entered the home. Inside the residence, they observed Jonathan Wilburn Bailey and Anah Brown actively arguing. They separated the two individuals to investigate the incident.
Following the investigation, both individuals were arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of misdemeanor simple assault on Brown and misdemeanor assault on a female on Bailey.
While conducting a search of Bailey during the booking process, deputies located illegal substances and paraphernalia. He was additionally charged with the following offenses:
(F) Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, or Deliver Schedule IV Controlled Substance
(F) Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Prison/Jail
(F) Possession of Methamphetamine
(M) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
(M) Simple Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance
They received no bond due to having a charge that was domestic in nature. A first appearance was set for December 22, 2025, in Randolph County District Court for both.
