***UPDATE***
After the initial arrest of Mary Jane Hedrick, multiple additional victims contacted the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. As a result, additional charges were sought on November 4, 2025, against Ms. Hedrick for seven counts of felony worthless checks and three counts of felony obtain property by false pretense. The magistrate found probable cause to issue the warrants for arrest.
On November 17, 2025, Hedrick was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where she was served these warrants. She was held under no bond as she was currently out on pre-trial release. Her first appearance was scheduled for November 18, 2025, in Randolph County District Court on these new charges.

Between the dates of September 3, 2025, and September 8, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of fraud.
Following an investigation by the Randolph County Criminal Investigations Division, charges were sought on September 29, 2025, against Mary Jane Hedrick for felony Worthless checks, and the magistrate found probable cause to issue multiple warrants for arrest.
On September 29, 2025, Hedrick was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where she was served her warrants. She was issued a $30,000 secured bond, and her first appearance was scheduled for September 30, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
