During the booking process, Brisson’s conduct was inappropriate. Following the investigation, a warrant was pursued for felony malicious conduct by a prisoner, and the magistrate found probable cause to issue it.
Still confined, Brisson was served the warrant on October 13, 2025. The magistrate issued a $2,500 secured bond, and Brisson is set to appear in Randolph County District Court on October 20, 2025.

On October 9, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Fuller Mill Rd., N., Thomasville, in reference to a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, the suspect was located and identified as Geoffrey Shane Brisson. He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony break/enter a motor vehicle and misdemeanor injury to personal property. While going through the booking process, Brisson was non-compliant with the detention staff, the deputy, and the magistrate. He was issued a $100,000 secured bond, and a first appearance was set for October 10, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
The magistrate also held Brisson in contempt of court due to his behavior.
