The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division conducted an investigation into an assault in January 2024. As a result of that investigation, warrants were sought against Shadow Wayne Johnson for breaking and entering to terrorize, three (3) counts of injury to personal property, two (2) counts of injury to real property, and communicating threats.
In September of 2025, information was obtained that led to charges being sought against Shadow Wayne Johnson for felony intimidating a state's witness as it relates to this case. The magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest.
On October 3, 2025, the Criminal Apprehension Team located Johnson at Circle Dr., Archdale. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served his outstanding warrant, given no bond, and a first appearance was set for October 6, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
Johnson was additionally served a 50B while at the Detention Center.
