In July 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force initiated an investigation related to a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During the course of the investigation, Daniel William George was identified as a suspect.
On July 7, 2025, a search warrant was executed by members of the Invictus Task Force and as a result, Daniel William George was taken into custody and charged with (2) counts of First-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. George was transported to the Forsyth County Detention Center where the magistrate issued a $200,000 secure bond and set a first appearance in Forsyth County District Court for July 8, 2025. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Invictus Task Force representatives.
