On June 30, 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force, with the assistance of the Concord Police Department, concluded an investigation into an act of solicitation by computer. As a result of the investigation, Dylan James Tyler was arrested by the Task Force and charged with one (1) count of Felony Solicitation of a child by computer & appear. Tyler was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate issued a $70,000 secured bond, and a first appearance was set for July 3, 2025, in Randolph County District Court. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the HSI Invictus Task Force representative.
