On January 17, 2025, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible child abuse. Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, charges were sought against Ian Kincaid Fletcher for felony negligent child abuse- inflicting serious physical injury, and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest.
On April 27, 2025, Fletcher was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served his warrant. He was issued a $15,000 secured bond, and a first appearance was set for April 28, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
