On April 29, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop at Mendenhall Rd. and Prospect St., Archdale. Upon approach, contact was made with the driver, who was identified as Jerica Anita Roach. Roach was issued a warning ticket for the traffic violations.
During a consensual search of the vehicle, illegal substances and paraphernalia were located. Roach was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was not given a bond due to her having pending charges. A first appearance was set for April 29, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
