On May 25, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team initiated a traffic stop in the area of Tom Hill Rd., Archdale. The vehicle stopped briefly and then fled the traffic stop. A pursuit ensued and after approximately twenty miles, the vehicle was forced to stop by pursuing officers at 10134 N. Main St. in Archdale. Pamela Grey Frisby, the driver of the vehicle, was arrested at the scene. The passenger, later identified as Justin Brent Moran, fled on foot and was located and arrested after a short K-9 pursuit.
Following the arrest of both individuals, narcotics and paraphernalia were located at the scene. Both Frisby and Moran were wanted on additional charges and were transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for charges as follows:
Frisby: Felony Flee/Elude, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II, No Insurance, Reckless Driving, Failure to Stop at a Steady Red Light, Failure to Stop at a Posted Stop Sign, and Speeding. She was also served two outstanding Orders for Arrest. She was given a total of $30,000 secure bond with a first appearance was set for May 26, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
Moran: Resisting Public Officer. He was also served an outstanding Parole violation and given a $1,000.00 secure bond and a first appearance was set for May 26, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
