Also during the incident, Justin Steven Roark, who had an order for arrest for failure to appear, was located. He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center. During a subsequent search, illegal substances were located. During the screening process, a foreign object was detected. Out of concern for his welfare, he was transported to Randolph Health for evaluation.
Charges were sought for felony possession of a controlled substance on jail premises and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant.
Following treatment, he was transported back to the Randolph County Detention Center and served his outstanding processes and the warrant. He was issued a $4,000 total secured bond and a first appearance was set for March 7, 2025.

On March 6, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to call on Arcadia Rd., Randleman. During the investigation and subsequent search, illegal substances were located. Jill Elizabeth Benedict was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of Schedule I controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of Schedule II controlled substance. She was issued a $5,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for March 7, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
