
In February 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force began working on an investigation related to a reported offense against a juvenile, that was made to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office. During the course of the investigation, Nicholas Kane Conner, a registered sex offender, was identified as a suspect.
On February 13, 2025, with assistance from the Thomasville Police Department, Nicholas Kane Conner was taken into custody and charged with indecent liberties with a minor, failure to register an online identifier, and dissemination of harmful material to a minor. Conner was transported to the Davidson County Detention Center where the magistrate issued no bond and set a first appearance in Davidson County District Court for March 12, 2025. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, Invictus Task Force representatives.
