On January 18, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Indian Wells Loop., Asheboro, in reference to a reported abandoned vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies observed a male subject in the wooded area in close proximity to the vehicle. He was identified as Anthony Alan Bullins, who had two outstanding orders for arrest. In addition, Communications advised that Bullins was entered as a wanted person. He was placed under arrest. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located in his possession. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served his outstanding orders for arrest. The magistrate found probable cause for the new charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a total of $9,000 in secured bonds and a first appearance was set for January 21, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
