On January 8, 2025, while investigating a Crimestoppers tip, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Enforcement Team responded to a residence located on Cedardale St. in Trinity. After further investigation, Detectives searched the residence and located and seized approximately 7.6 pounds of marijuana, Psilocybin (Mushrooms), and items of drug paraphernalia. Also seized, were two firearms and US Currency.
Josue Omar Terrones-Maldonado was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule VI controlled substance, felony possession of schedule VI controlled substance, felony maintain vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, felony possession schedule I controlled substance, felony possession of weapon of mass destruction, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He was issued a $15,000 unsecured bond and a first appearance was set for February 4, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
