The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registry Detective received information that sex offender Johnathan Wayne Jollie had been entered as an absconder through Randolph County Probation, meaning that he had failed to notify the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office of his new address. Charges were sought for felony fail to report new address-sex offender and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant.
On August 28, 2024, Jollie had court on the probation violation charge, probation was revoked, and he was taken into custody to serve 60 days on the probation violation. Jollie was then served his warrant at the Randolph County Courthouse by the Registration Detective and received a $10,000 secured bond. His next court date was set for August 30, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
