On August 19, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Cloverfield Road, Asheboro, in reference to the larceny of a motor. Upon arrival and further investigation, it was determined that Joshua Clay Bunch had stolen the motor and it was located on his property. Bunch was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of stolen goods and felony larceny. Bunch received a written promise to appear on September 9, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
