On August 10, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible sex offense upon a minor. Following an investigation of the allegations, Criminal Investigation Detectives sought charges against Brandon Dale Sylvester for felony second--degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
On August 14, 2024, Sylvester was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served the warrant. The magistrate issued a $25,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for August 15, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
