On June 23, 2021, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible sex offense. Following an investigation of the allegations, Criminal Investigation Detectives sought charges against Drew Elliott McGill for felony disseminate obscenity and felony sex offense.
On August 1, 2024, McGill was extradited back to Randolph County after being located in Tampa, Florida. He was served his warrant for arrest.at the Ramdolph County Detention Center. The magistrate issued a $75,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for August 2, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
