On July 24, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest (EHA) Officers conducted a house search of Patrick Andre Marley. During the search, items were located that are in violation of his conditions of house arrest. Marley was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of marijuana, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/or distribute a Schedule VI controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Marley was on electronic house arrest as part of his pretrial conditions since September 8, 2024, during which he received two other violations. He was denied bond due to being out on pretrial release and his first appearance was set for July 25, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
He was also charged with an EHA violation under his previous charge of first-degree murder. He was issued a $500,000 secured bond plus continued house arrest and a court date was set for July 29, 2024, in Randolph County Superior Court.
