On June 11, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Urban Interdiction Team was conducting an unrelated investigation in the area of Arcadia Rd., Randleman, when they located a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Lee County.
Following an investigation, charges were sought against Chelsi Nicole Rayle and Justin Steven Roark for felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest for each.
On June 12, 2024, Rayle and Roark were located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where they were served their outstanding warrant. The magistrate issued Rayle a $10,000 secured bond and Roark was not given a bond. A first appearance was set for both on June 13, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
