***UPDATE***
On April 5, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Pleasant Ridge RD., Franklinville, in reference to recovering stolen property. Upon arrival, the complainants advised that Windy Elizabeth Callicutt had brought property to their residence for storage stating that her father had gifted the items to her. The property was seized and taken to evidence to be stored until the owner could identify/retrieve same.
Charges were sought on Callicutt and the magistrate found probable cause for an additional charge of felony obtain property by false pretense and issued a warrant. Callicutt, currently incarcerated at the Randolph County Detention Center on other related charges, was served the warrant. Bond was denied and a court date was set for April 8, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.

On March 17, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Brookgreen Rd., Ramseur, in reference to a reported larceny complaint. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the reporting party/victim, who reported firearms and other items missing from the residence. Following the investigation and collection of evidence, charges were sought against Windy Elizabeth Callicutt for 10 counts of felony larceny of firearms, felony obtain property by false pretense, and felony larceny, and the magistrate found probable cause to issue warrants for arrest.
On April 5, 2024, Callicutt was located by the Criminal Apprehension team, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where she was served with her outstanding warrant. She was also served her outstanding orders for arrest for failure to appear on a misdemeanor. The magistrate issued a $42,500 total secured bond and a first appearance was set for April 8, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
