On March 23, 2024, while a Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Deputy was patrolling the Tabernacle Church Rd. area of Trinty, he observed a vehicle parked next to the bridge, and due to having a call history of trespassing in that area, he stopped to investigate. During the investigation, Willie Roscoe Williams was determined to have illegal narcotics and paraphernalia in his possession. Williams was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of heroin, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Williams was issued a $1,500 secured bond and a first appearance was set for March 25, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
