On December 18, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Old Walker Mill Rd., Randleman, in reference to a stolen vehicle. During an investigation by the Criminal Interdiction Team, it was discovered that the vehicle had been sold to a local recycler and destroyed. Evidence was collected from the business and charges were sought against Cameron Len Davis for felony obtain property by false pretense and misdemeanor larceny of a motor vehicle. The magistrate found probable cause for charges and issued a warrant for arrest.
On February 14, 2024, Davis turned himself in at the High Point Police Department to be served his outstanding warrant. The Guilford County magistrate issued a written promise to appear in Randolph County District Court on March 18, 2024.
