On February 1, 2021, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest (EHA) Officers were made aware that Cassidy Ann Black had violated her conditions of EHA. Deputies responded to Upton St., Randleman, where she was arrested and transported to the Adult Day Reporting Center for a drug screening, which returned positive for illegal narcotics. She was then transported to Randolph Hospital for evaluation and when cleared by medical staff, transported to the Randolph County Detention Center and taken before the magistrate. The magistrate found probable cause for felony electronic house arrest/violation. She was issued a $200,000 secured bond with continued EHA. A first appearance was set for February 5, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
Black has been on EHA since December 2, 2023, for robbery with a dangerous weapon. This is her second EHA Violation.
