On October 1, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Finch Farm Rd., Trinity, in reference to a welfare check. It was reported that an individual was asleep in a vehicle at the gas pumps. Upon arrival, deputies woke the female, identified as Lesley Alexandra McCorkindale. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine, marijuana, and paraphernalia were located. She was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, two counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. She was issued a $1,500 secured bond and a first appearance was set for October 2, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
