On August 22, 2023, a Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Finch Farm Rd., Trinity. Upon approach, the deputy observed what appeared to be paraphernalia and a possible narcotics in plain view. The driver was identified as Kathy Ann Reynolds, who was determined to have a suspended license. Reynolds was issued a citation for the expired registration and for driving while license revoked.
During a subsequent search, cocaine and paraphernalia were located. Reynolds was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued a $1,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for August 23, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
