On June 14, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to South Creek Court, Asheboro, in reference to a reported assault. Upon arrival, the deputy observed damage to the door frame and the door standing open. Upon approach, a male, identified as Bryan Edward Addison, was encountered. During the investigation, Addison admitted that he had kicked in the front door and was therefore detained.
Following the investigation, Addison was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony breaking and entering, misdemeanor assault on a female, and misdemeanor injury to personal property. Bond was denied due the charges being domestic in nature. A first appearance was set for June 15, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
