On June 3, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Millie Lane in Asheboro, in reference trespassing. Upon arrival, deputies located a male subject, identified as Augustus Charles McAndrew, in the back yard of the property.
The victims reported arriving home, hearing noise coming from the back yard and observed a male standing inside the outbuilding. When they yelled at him to leave the property, he exposed himself and did not leave.
He was placed under arrest for an outstanding order for arrest for a felony probation violation.
McAndrew was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate also found probable cause for the charges of felony breaking or entering and misdemeanor indecent exposure. He was issued a $15,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for June 5, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
He was given a $25,000 secured bond a court date of June 6, 2023 on his outstanding order for arrest.
