On January 8, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a business located on US Hwy 64 E., Asheboro. Upon investigation, it was determined that the registration had expired. The driver was identified as Justin Matthew Stiltner, who had a suspended driver’s license.
During a subsequent search, an illegal substance and paraphernalia were located. Stiltner was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a $5,000 secured bond with a first appearance court date set for January 8, 2026, in Randolph County District Court.
