On November 26, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Albemarle Rd., Asheboro, for an agency assist with the N.C. State Highway Patrol, who had performed a traffic stop on a vehicle. During a subsequent search, illegal substances and paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle and in possession of the driver, who was identified as Talia Dawn Singletary.
She was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of Schedule III. The magistrate issued no bond due to her being out on bond, and a first appearance was set for November 28, 2025.
