
In August 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force initiated an investigation related to a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During the course of the investigation, Eduardo Diaz was identified as a suspect.
On November 20, 2025, the Invictus Task Force with the assistance of Forsyth County Special Response Team executed a search warrant in Rural Hall, NC, and as a result Eduardo Diaz was taken into custody on eight (8) counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. Diaz was transported to the Forsyth County Detention Center where the magistrate issued a $3,000,000 secured bond and set a first appearance in Forsyth County District Court for November 21, 2025. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Invictus Task Force representatives.
