On November 14, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Unit, along with Probation and Parole, searched a residence located on Drum St., Asheboro. During the search, Detectives located and seized a trafficking amount of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and items of drug paraphernalia.
As a result, Robert Daniel Pugh was placed into custody and transported to Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony trafficking in heroin, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possess drug paraphernalia. He received a $500,000 secured bond with a first appearance set for November 17, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
