On September 9, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Jordan Rd., Ramseur. The driver was identified as Jalen Tyrell Alston and was issued a citation for driving while his license was revoked.
During a subsequent search, marijuana was located. Alston was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Jail Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for Felony Possession of Marijuana. He was issued a $1,000 secured bond, and his first appearance was set for September 12, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
