On April 11, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible sex offense against a minor.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, charges were sought against Randy Lee Temkey for two counts of felony indecent liberties with a child and two counts of felony sex offense.
On July 28, 2025, Temkey was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center. He was issued a $60,000 secured bond, and a first appearance is scheduled for July 29, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
