On July 27, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Copples Rd., Asheboro, in reference to a family fight. Upon arrival, deputies located Andres Reza Hernandez, who was noticeably impaired. During the investigation, a firearm was located. Hernandez is a convicted felon and cannot possess firearms.
He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center. No bond was issued because he was already out on pre-trial release for a different incident. A first appearance is scheduled for July 28, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
