On April 4, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on I-85 and Hopewell Church Rd., Trinity. The driver was identified as Feinaldo Franklin Siler.
During a subsequent search, suspected Fentanyl was located. The deputy attempted to issue a citation; however, technical difficulties with the computer prevented it from processing. Siler was made aware of the situation and informed that charges would be pursued, and he was permitted to leave. The substance was sent to the state lab for a drug chemistry analysis.
Following the investigation, charges were sought, and the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to maintain lane control, and rear lamp violation. A warrant for arrest was issued.
On June 13, 2025, Siler was located in Forsyth County, arrested and transported to the Forsyth County Detention Center, where he was served his warrant. He was issued a $5,000 secured bond, and a court date was set for June 23, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
