On April 16, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded Hoover Hill Rd., Trinity, in reference to larceny/theft. Following an investigation by Patrol, charges were sought against Christopher Lee Edwards for felony breaking and/or entering, felony larceny after break/enter, and misdemeanor injury to personal property, and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest.
On May 26, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to US Hwy 64 W., Asheboro, in reference to a larceny of motor fuel. Following this investigation, charges were sought against Edwards, and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for his arrest for misdemeanor larceny of motor fuel.
Later the same day, Edwards was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served his outstanding warrants and issued a $16,000 total secured bond. A first appearance was set for May 27, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
