On May 3, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Turnpike Rd., Archdale, in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, evidence was collected for the investigation.
Following the investigation, charges were sought against Jay Emanuel Calhoun and Rodney Clay Cribb, Jr., and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest for both for felony breaking and/or entering, misdemeanor first-degree trespassing - enter/remain, and misdemeanor injury to personal property.
On May 12, 2025, Calhoun was located in Davidson County, arrested, and transported to the Davidson County Detention Center, where he was served his warrant. He was issued a $10,000 secured bond, and a court date was set for June 11, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
On May 13, 2025, Cribb was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served his warrant, and the magistrate issued a $10,000 secured bond. A first appearance was set for May 13, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
