On November 22, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division received a referral from the Randolph County Department of Social Services regarding the welfare of a child.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, charges were sought against Roy Michael Prim for felony sale or delivery of a controlled substance to a pregnant female. The magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest.
On April 23, 2025, the Criminal Apprehension Team located and apprehended Primm on Fork Creek Mill Rd., Seagrove. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served his warrant and issued a $25,000 secured bond, and a first appearance was set for April 24, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
