On March 5, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team Highway Unit conducted a traffic stop at Edgar Rd. and Richardson Rd. in Archdale. During the stop, it was discovered that an occupant of the vehicle, Virginia Letita Richardson, had outstanding processes out of Davidson County. She was placed under arrest and during a subsequent search, narcotics were located. She was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine and felony possession of heroin. She was issued a $30,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for March 10, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
She was also served with her felony probation violation and outstanding orders for arrest out of Davidson County. She was issued an additional $20,000 secured bond. A first appearance was set for March 7, 2025, in Davidson County District Court.
