On January 15, 2025, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Clayton St., Archdale, in reference to a larceny. Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, charges were sought against Jeremy Lee Jones and Tony Dwayne Mashburn, Jr., for felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods.
Jones, who was currently confined at the Randolph County Detention Center, was served his warrant. The magistrate issued no bond and a first appearance was set for February 10, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
Mashburn was located in Guilford County. He was arrested and transported to the Guilford County Detention Center where he was served his warrant and received a $5,000 secured bond.
