
In October 2024, members of the Invictus Task Force began working an investigation related to a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During the course of the investigation, Robert Samuel Plemmons, was identified as a suspect.
As a result of the investigation, Robert Samuel Plemmons was charged with ten (10) counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
On January 15, 2025, Robert Samuel Plemmons was taken into custody and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate issued no bond and set a first appearance in Randolph County District Court for January 17, 2025. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Invictus Task Force representatives.
