On November 28, 2024, Randolph County Detention Center Staff located an illegal substance in the possession of Alexandra Katherine McArthur during the booking process.
Following an investigation by the Detention Center Detective, McArthur was brought before the magistrate who found probable cause for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance on Jail Premises and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was not given a bond and a first appearance was set for November 29, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
