On December 7, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Buffalo Ford Rd., Asheboro, in reference to a fight in progress. Upon arrival, a male subject, later identified as Brady Galarza, was detained as he exited the residence. The victim was located inside the residence with visible injuries.
After all information was obtained that was necessary for this incident, Galarza was placed under arrest and transported to Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony assault by strangulation, felony breaking and entering with intent to terrorize, felony assault on a female, misdemeanor injury to real property, and misdemeanor interfering with emergency communications. Galarza was given no bond due to the charges being domestic in nature. He was also served with an outstanding Civil Order for Arrest for child support and an Order for Arrest for misdemeanor failure to appear. He was issued a $2,500 total secured bond for those. A first appearance was set for December 9, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
