On November 29, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Greensboro Rd., Randleman. During a subsequent search, open containers of alcohol, paraphernalia, and a firearm were located. Randolph Communications was able to confirm that the firearm had been reported stolen in Greensboro. Joshua Daniel Ingle was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of a stolen firearm, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor open container after consuming, and misdemeanor expired tag. Ingle wasn’t given a bond because of his pending charges. A first appearance was set for December 2, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
