On August 21, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Carl Brady Rd., Bennett, in reference to a larceny.
During the investigation, charges were sought against Kimberly Gayle Emerson for felony obtain property by false pretense. The magistrate found probable cause and issued a warrant for arrest.
On October 8, 2024, Emerson was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where she was served her warrant. She was given a $2,500 secured bond and a first appearance was set for October 8, 2024, in Randolph County District Court. She was also served an outstanding civil order for arrest for non-support of child and issued a $250 cash bond.
