On October 9, 2024, members of the Invictus Task Force and the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in Alamance County, NC, related to a cyber tip received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). As a result of the investigation, Cassidy Lynne Walsh was arrested by the Invictus Task Force and charged with one (1) count of 2nd Degree Exploitation of a minor and one (1) count of 3rd Degree Exploitation of a minor. Walsh was transported to the Alamance County Detention Center where the magistrate issued a $20,000 secured bond and set a first appearance in Alamance County District Court. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, Invictus Task Force representatives.
