On September 18, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest (EHA) Officers were made aware that Brandon Chase Hodge’s EHA strap may have been tampered with, which violates his EHA conditions. The EHA Officers responded to the address to check the status. Hodge was located and taken for a drug test in compliance with pre-trial release conditions. Ultimately, Hodge failed to produce a sample and was consequently transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was violated on his previous charges of felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver heroin; felony possession of methamphetamine; and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. The magistrate issued a $50,000 secured bond with continued EHA. A court date was scheduled for September 23, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
